New initiatives

SCHOOL UNIFORM We are tightening up on school uniform at the moment. Please ensure that your child attends school each morning wearing the correct school uniform, including tie done up correctly for the winter uniform. Earrings or studs are not permitted. Students may wear a wristwatch. NO OTHER JEWELLERY IS PERMITTED. Hair should be tied back if it is shoulder length or longer. The PE uniform consists of a plain coloured T-shirt (the assigned house colour for your child) and black shorts. Trainers are permitted for PE and lunchtimes only. Coats MUST be black, green or navy. (Have you seen our new school jacket? The PA have order forms in the reception lobby). Our PA also have regular secondhand uniform sales and appreciate all help and donations. Water bottles (sports top) Most children have responded well to the water bottle initiative and whatever class you walk into, water bottles are very much in evidence. Children are all drinking much more as a result and we hope this will lead to more work being produced throughout the school.
